Dr. Metroka and his staff will gladly assist you with any emergency you and your pet may be experiencing. We are always available to established patients, and on a case-by-case basis, we admit non-patients for after-hours emergency services.
We strive to be available to our established clients when an after hours emergency arises. If we are unable to help you, we recommend contacting the Animal Clinic Northview Emergency Center at (440) 327-8282.
Your pet is your devoted companion, so when you entrust that friendship to us, our staff takes that responsibility seriously. That is why we do our best to build lasting relationships with you and your pet. Dr. Metroka has been working as a veterinarian for over 30 years, and during that time, he has turned his office into a state-of-the-art animal hospital
Our office is currently the only veterinarian’s office in the Sandusky area to offer house calls. Dr. Metroka will come to your house if your pet cannot come in to see us, and he can transport smaller dogs and cats to the hospital if necessary. We also offer house calls for those who wish to say goodbye to their pets in the privacy and comfort of their own home.
We offer a variety of services to keep your pet happy and healthy. From exams and vaccinations to dermatology and dentistry, our office can help keep your pet happy and healthy. Our staff can perform radiography and testing in our in-office radiography suite and laboratory, and we can also do minor surgeries, so you do not have to worry about finding a veterinary surgeon to get help for your furry friend.

If you are not a current client, we may be able to help you in an emergency during office hours. This decision is made on a case-by-case basis.
We have gathered links to a variety of sites we think might be helpful for you to keep your pet happier at home. From the AKC, which has information about maintaining your dog’s health at home, to a link to Animal Poison Control, these links can help you be the best pet parent possible. You can find both of these links and more on our website for your convenience.
If you have any questions or you would like to make an appointment with our skilled veterinary staff, contact us at any time. We are more than willing to answer any question you may have over the phone, and if we need more information from you, our doctor will call you back in the same day.
We partner with Ivan & Izzy’s Grooming Salon. Getting your pet groomed is an important part of keeping your dog or cat happy and healthy. Regular grooming by a trained professional can prevent issues like fleas, ticks, allergies and more.
